_ WHAT CAN I DO IF MY EX WON'T FOLLOW THE COURT ORDER?

If you have a valid court order in a Divorce or Paternity case, you can file a Contempt Citation against your ex for her willful refusal to follow the order.  Contempt Citations are frequently filed in cases of unpaid child support, medical and daycare expenses, and visitation denials. If you are successful in proving that the order was violated, you can request that your ex reimburse you for the costs and attorney fees you had to pay to enforce the order.
